About us

I am a Theresa, wife  to Hyland (that’s our last name, David is his first name- it ‘s more fun to say and gets his attention faster than his first name) and mother of Grace and Lucy. Originally from the midwest (well… Michigan, it really is more east than west, but then again Geography was not my strongest subject in school). We live on the east coast (yes, really, the east coast) Connecticut to be exact. I work part-time (most of the time) and parent full-time. Life is a mixed bag and so is our blog.

I refer to it as our blog because I am doing this with my girls, for my girls. I am the primary writer, they are the primary content providers. Hopefully some of my wonderful and colorful friends will guest post once in a while as I have been unsuccessful at my attempts to inspire them to write and publish in the big “blogging” world.
